History/ accomplishments

History:
Uri Shiya's parents were both fishermen and she was expected to continue on the family buisness, she actually considered doing it for awhile.. before that day he came to save the city.

It started out as a wonderful sunny spring day, the couriers were running about the city, each with his own message or urgent parcel, and the fish were biting exceptionally well that day. All was going well and Uri had walked over to the dock to help her father catch fish as she would nearly every second day. Her mother was in the house spring cleaning, chucking out all the junk that had accumulated for awhile.
Uri untied the ropes tying the small fishing boat to the long dock and kicked the dock with her boot, pushing the boat off from the dock and all went as usual. Her father started to ready the nets and Uri had just sat down on the bench of the boat when she had the strangest feeling that something wasn't right.
Her father must of had the same feeling because when she looked into his eyes she could see his feeling, knowing something was terribly wrong, for what she saw in his eyes, was fear.
She quickly turned her head to see what had happened, she saw to her dismay that parts of the city had been set alight and buildings were burning to the ground. She searched the crowd for an answer .. and she found it a small army of minotaur’s had found their way into the city and were destroying everything in sight. Uri and her father docked the boat and did what they did best, run. A few moments into the chaos and she had already became separated from her father and was now running the streets alone, clueless of where to go next.
She ran towards the exit of the city until a building toppled over and blocked off her exit. She turned round to make her escape but found that it too was cut off, but this time by a pack of minotaur’s. Uri was no fighter, or spell caster, and she had left her bow at home. She was cornered and all she could do at that time was read the emotions of the beasts.. all she saw in their cold eyes were the will to kill, she knew that she would not survive. That is ... until a great winged creature flew down from above and landed right between her and the minotaur’s, a silver longsword in his gloved hand. Uri looked up at what had landed and realized that it was a winged elf. The elf looked back at her then rushed forward and killed the beasts with his sword, plunging it deep into the creatures chests. Before she had a moment to thank him the elf flew off again, going to help some other helpless townsfolk.
The crisis ended and the Finnarel people quickly rebuilt the city to its former glory.

Uri was forever changed by that incident, no longer did she want to fish... she wanted to fight, to be able to protect herself and others. Her parents weren’t happy with her decision and tried to convince her to go back to normal, but she refused. She would regularly go out to her secret spot in the woods and practice her skills there, even though she wasn’t very good at it..... not to mention that she was fighting air with brittle sticks that had the tendency to beak and hit her over the head. Deciding that she wasn't going to get anywhere like that she went back to her home and packed her bags, deciding to go out and learn for herself, against real opponents and real dangers, no matter how weak she was at the time.
A year passed and her knowledge grew, she got strong enough to live on her own <most of the time> and if she ever decided she couldn’t fight something... she would just run away, to save the fight for another day.
